Do Tummy aches disprove God? A logical nonsense

“1. Tummy aches are a form of harm being done to the physical and/or psychological well-being of a sentient creature.
2. Harm is evil.
3. God–an omniscient, wholly good being–would prevent evil.
4. God did not prevent my tummy ache
5. Ergo, there is no god.”

This reasoning is distinctly flawed. Point two assumes that harm is evil. Point 3 assumes that God shares the same criteria for good and evil as we do, or even has one at all.  Point 4 assumes that God exists to work for humans, to do their bidding – almost as if the author is saying we would be the masters of our own God.

The original author created this logical argument in order to refute it, however the basic assumptions of the argument, which the author does not address as he clings to the more obvious, implied meanings, are not valid.

The criteria for logical invalidity the author uses is discrediting the notion that the existence of evil denies the existence of God, when the construct he builds to observe this is flawed, and logically breaks down before his assertion even requires addressing.

This method is deceptive and used for shockvalue, it creates the notion that it is a problem, and when the problem has not even been properly presented, how can adequate conclusions be reached?
